Kachemak Bay State Park is Alaska’s first state park. The park has close to 400,000 acres of mountains, forests, glaciers, rivers and beaches. Many of the park’s attractions include Grewingk Glacier, Halibut Cove Lagoon, China Poot Lake and Poot Peak. There are numerous campsites and cabins to rent for overnights stays. For hiking or camping in the park, or just spending an afternoon strolling along a secluded beach exploring tide-pools, Sunrunner Water Taxi will get you there safely.
